Paneer stuffing makes the naan even more tasty.

Paneer Naan Recipe:

Ingredients –

(Makes 4-5 naan)

1 cup maida

2 tsp sooji (semolina)

1 tsp oil

1/4 cup curd

Salt to taste

A pinch of baking soda

Half tsp sugar

Lukewarm water for kneading

For paneer filling –

50 gms paneer

1 green chilli, chopped

Salt to taste

1 tsp garam masala

Handful of coriander leaves

Method –

Step 1 – Mix maida, sooji, baking soda, salt and sugar. Add oil and mix lightly with hands. Then knead dough with warm or lukewarm water. Let it rest for half an hour.

Step 2 – Grate paneer, add salt, garam masala, chopped green chillies, coriander leaves and mix well.

Step 3 – Divide dough into small equal sized balls. Take one ball and with your thumb make a deep well in the center. Fill it with 1 tsp of paneer filling and roll the ball again to cover it.

Step 4 – Now, sprinkle some dry flour on your surface and roll the dough ball enough to make naan. Sprinkle some water all over the naan

Step 5 – On a well heated non-stick tawa, drop the naan with water-laden side down touching the tawa base. Press the naan so that it sticks to the tawa. Now, pick the tawa and turn it upside down so that the naan cooks directly on the flame.

You tandoor-style paneer naan without yeast is cooked. Pair it with your favourite sabzi and enjoy a good meal with your family.
