Tearing into these scrummy and succulent wings, is simply an experience unparalleled. But since we cannot step out to dine in our favourite restaurants nowadays, a lot of us are cravings some of our favourite ‘restaurant food’. What if we tell you, you can bring your favourite restaurant home? Yes, you heard us! It is not that hard to recreate your favourite restaurant-style food at home, and during the ongoing lockdown — you do not have much of a choice either. So don the apron and get started.

With this video recipe of restaurant-style fried chicken wings, you can treat yourself and your family a lip-smacking fare. All you need are some raw chicken wings — you can simply order some at your place or get it from a trusted meat shop. Wash it thoroughly and marinate it with a  mix of garlic, curry leaves, red chilly powder, coriander powder, cumin, turmeric, garam masala, pepper, lemon juice, maida, rice flour and salt to taste. Marinate well and keep it aside for 2 hours. Deep-fry the wings until they are golden brown. Your fried chicken wings are ready to be devoured. PREP TIME: 2 hours

COOK TIME: 30 minutes

SERVES: 2

Ingredients:

  • 6-8 Chicken wings
  • 4-6 Garlic pods
  • 1/2 inch Ginger
  • 10-12 Curry leaves
  • 2 tbsp Kashmiri Chilli Powder
  • 2 tsp Cumin Powder
  • 1 tbsp Coriander Powder
  • 1 tsp Turmeric Powder
  • 2 tsp Garam Masala Powder
  • 1 tsp Pepper Powder
  • 4 tbsp Lemon Juice
  • 4tbsp All Purpose flour
  • 4 tbsp Rice Flour
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil for deep frying

Method:

1. Grind garlic, ginger, curry leaves in a blender and puree roughly.

2. Take all ingredients in a bowl and mix well.

3. Leave to marinate for 1 to 2 hours.

4. Deep fry till golden.

5. Drain and serve.
