Kareena Kapoor Khan shared a video and picture of ‘Khichda’, which was made for her by her designer friends. Thanking them in her Instagram stories, she wrote, “Thank you my Aki Narula and Shakeel for the best Khichdaaaaaa in history. History was created tonight in my tummy.”

Kareena Kapoor Khan was referring to the humble one-pot meal ‘Khichda’ in her stories. The comforting dish has been traditionally served in Muslim households. Khichda is made with a mix of rice, lentils, mutton and some spicy masalas. There are many ways to garnish the dish, including crispy fried onions, chopped ginger, mint leaves or even fresh green chillies.
