Shilpa Shetty And Raj Kundra got married in 2009 and are parents to two kids.
Shilpa Shetty is a self-confessed foodie who loves to cook as well as gorge on all things yummy and she got the perfect occasion to do so yesterday. Her husband and entrepreneur Raj Kundra celebrated his 45th birthday yesterday and the excited wife made sure to make it a memorable one at home. Shilpa gave us a sneak-peek of all the delicious goodness the family had on her Instagram stories. Since Raj is a vegan, the celebrations included most things vegan including a delicious moong dal halwa cake, perhaps made by Shilpa herself!
Shilpa then posted adorable pictures of the birthday boy with a string of decadent desserts, including some yummy-looking cakes on the table, making it one chocolate lover’s dream. One was a vegan alphabet cake from their favourite Paleoo bakes that was shaped in the alphabet K and was decorated with creamy white frosting, macaroons and chocolates on the top. Another was a drool-worthy chocolate cake smeared with rich chocolate ganache with ‘Happy Birthday Cookie’ written on it. One look at it the cake table will make you slurp for sure!
Shilpa also shared a lovely photo of Raj Kundra with his mother along with another vegan cake from her favourite hotspot for all binges, Bastian Mumbai. The cake was made by Bastian’s chef Boo Kim and was a delightful chocolate one with what looked like crunchy ground nuts on the side and topped with fresh berries. Isn’t this picture just adorable?
What made us drool even more was the scrumptious Asian spread set on the dinner table by Bastian at Kundra’s for the special day! From Shilpa’s favourite Fried Rice to Tofu, Pad Thai and Edamame Hummus, one simply cannot resist the special affair. Shilpa posted a video of the dinner table introducing all the dishes and thanking chef Boo Kim for the special treats.
Even though the Coronavirus pandemic has got everyone home-bound and the celebrations can only be low-key, Shilpa Shetty just showed us how to make the most of it with an intimate celebration with the loved ones!
