  • The lipsmacking dishes were actually her mother’s recipes

Cooking one or two dishes is quite an achievable task, but to cook an entire meal by oneself is indeed a daunting thought for many. Although we all love to eat, when it comes to cooking the same meal by ourselves we often struggle to get things right. Dosa is one such dish, which is a much-loved South Indian delight – but making it requires endless amounts of patience and lots of hardwork. Preity Zinta nailed the arduous recipe, according to the latest Instagram update that she shared. Take a look at the post and story:

Preity Zinta made a delicious Masala Dosa with an aloo stuffing. The meal was complete with two kinds of chutneys, tomato and mint, as well as a sambhar. The dosa was filled generously with South-Indian-style potatoes in it. The chutneys had a tadka of spices in them, including red chillies and rai too. Sambhar too was made with a lot of interesting vegetables in it, like drumsticks, potatoes, carrots and Okra.

Preity Zinta held up the plate to the camera and showed off her cooking skills, smilingly. Interestingly, the Dosa was her mother’s recipe with whom she is spending a lot of time during the period of self-isolation. “Yesss! Finally learnt how to make Masala Dosa. It’s incredible how we have not gone out for 16 days nor met anyone. Feels strange, but I’d rather be home safe than sorry. It’s really nice to hang with mom & learn recipes of some of my fav. Dishes. Trying to stay positive & productive while we stay in,” wrote Preity Zinta in her post on the social media platform.

We hope to see more such glimpses of the actress’ foodie side, and we wish her all the very best for her future cooking endeavours too!
